Chen-Chin(Eric) Huang was a former communications R&D engineer at Zyxel and was assigned to the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) after passing the police national examination in 2006. 2016~2017, he was seconded to the Cyber Security Division of the Executive Yuan, and was promoted to the position of team leader upon his return to the CIB. Eric has been engaged in the field of high-tech crime investigation for many years, and is a member of ICANN Working Group and ICANN GAC PSWG Public Security Group. He has represented the CIB to participate in a number of multinational cybercrime-related conferences, and was sent to represent Taiwan to attend the 290th training session of the National Academy of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation this year, and has been quite active in the field of international crime investigation cooperation.

Eric is a graduate of the Department of Telecommunications Engineering at National Chiao Tung University and a Master of Science in the Institute of Communications Engineering at National Tsinghua University, specializing in communications technology, cybercrime investigation, and cyber security.
