Session Description:

Intermediary Liability is central to the discussion of Internet governance because it set out the role of government and private sector in moderating internet content. As such, the topic has been highly controversial, and it relates not only to the issue of freedom of speech, but also cybersecurity and intellectual property protection. This session aims to have an In depth discussion / debate on this topic with representative from 3 key stakeholders: 1. Public sector; 2. Platform; 3. Platform; and 4. Human Right advocacy group.
