Poren Chiang is a digital law researcher and a software developer based in Taiwan.
His research agenda focuses on digital goverance and open data. He also writes on a wide range of topics including data surveillance, FLOSS licenses, social media regulations, freedom of speech, and other constitutional law topics in the digital world.
Poren has been an active contributor of FLOSS and civic tech community, advocating for a more accountable and transparent digital transformation of the government. He also co-founded and co-organized SITCON, a tech education initiative to support young programming self-starters.
